Hello and welcome to our web site!

​We are Dave and Dot McHenry. We met in a bar (Fanny Ann's Saloon in Old Sacramento) on January 2, 1976 and were married just a short 176 days later.  I was born in West Sacramento, CA and Dot was born in San Francisco, CA.  We have made our home in the suburbs east of Sacramento, CA.  We have two adult boys and they have blessed us with eight wonderful grandchildren, and they in turn have blessed us with ten great-grandchildren!  We purchased our first home shortly after getting married, and sold that home just 30 months later purchasing our second home March 1979 and have never left. We did a major remodel in 2003 and by the end of 2012 we were both retired and ready see what God had in store for our remaining years.
 

We hope to travel as much as possible, and to help give us a small taste of the traveling life, we treated ourselves to few extended vacations, we like to call "Anniverary Trips" which begin in 2001, to see if we could actually survive being together 24/7 for long periods of time. Turns out, we were pretty good at it!
